The fireworks being around 10:00pm from the basin of the Sydenham River. Be prepared to arrive early to get a prime spot to watch the fireworks display. Wallaceburg is one of the few towns which has Canada Day fireworks.

The first weekend in July Wallaceburg hosts another annual event called Grande Olde Days. For two days there are sidewalk sales and entertainment downtown. On the Saturday at high noon there is a tug-o-war which takes place across the river. The event can be viewed from behind the Library and Legion.
